About this Episode
SlapperCast Episode 398: "A good drummer will make you dance. A bad drummer will make you leave."
This week on SlapperCast, Patrick and Chad recap Blaggards’ fourth annual Pirate Fest at Home Sweet Farm in Brenham, Texas—where the storms passed us by and the dance floor stayed busy.
With live footage from the show, we talk about Jimbo’s groove, slowing down “Copperhead Road,” and the musical surprises that keep familiar songs feeling fresh. We also celebrate Jeff Duncan and the players and friends helping keep Blaggards rolling, and send our love to Dave Hitchcock as he recovers from brain surgery.
Plus: memories of dodging rain at Fadó in Austin, Emilio’s first Houston show with us, and our upcoming Ireland tour.
Where are you listening from? Tell us in the comments—and bring a friend to a live show. Rock ’n’ roll needs you.
